Freshman and JV boys basketball season wrap-up

The JV boys had a tough season. Through wins and losses, they managed to keep a solid record.

They started off the season with wins over Irving MacArthur and Decatur, 57-44 and 47-33 respectively,  but they lost their momentum in a tough 41-80 loss against McKinney North. Other season highlights included a 56-29 win over Wichita Falls Rider, and a 68-34 win over Lake Dallas. Some tougher losses were a 39-57 loss against Braswell, and a 31-53 loss against Sanger.

The JV boys ended the season on a high note with a 50-30 win against Denton High and ended with 15-8 overall record.

The freshman boys played a competitive but difficult season. Experiencing close wins and tough losses, they ended their season with an 11-11 record.

The team started off with a 27-37 loss against Decatur and a 40-63 loss against McKinney North. Although their season was scarred with some tough losses, they also had plenty of hard-fought wins, like their 51-50 victory over Braswell, or their 65-46 win over the Colony. Other season highlights included a second 55-49 success against the Colony, and an impressive 55-29 victory against Denton High.
